Jupiter Global Philippines: card, QR Ph and PHP payout checks

A practical Jupiter Global Philippines guide covering card residence, DCS issuance, QR Ph, PHP bank payouts, USD balance mechanics and the checks to make before funding.

By StonkBuilder GuidesUpdated 21 Oct 20269 min read

Whether Jupiter Global works in the Philippines depends on what you want to do. The current documentation lists the Philippines as a supported card-residence market, assigns DCS to Philippine residents, lists QR Ph as a merchant network, and lists PHP as a local-payout currency. Those are all good signs, but each account, merchant, bank and route still has its own checks. Jupiter Card · QR Pay · Local payouts

The Philippines answer in one minute

  • Card residence: The Card page includes the Philippines in its active country list. Eligibility is based on residence, not citizenship, and identity verification can still request proof of address.
  • Issuer: Philippine residents are assigned the DCS issuer. The current DCS table lists a 1.8% fee on non-USD payments and a $50,000 daily spending limit with a $990,000 annual limit.
  • QR Pay: QR Ph is the documented Philippines merchant network. The QR table says cards issued in the Philippines support QR Pay; the feature still requires a funded Spend account and completed Jupiter ID verification.
  • PHP payout: PHP appears in the current local-payout list. The fee table shows a $2.50 fixed fee plus 0.45% variable fee for a Philippines bank transfer, subject to the live route, beneficiary and account checks.

The live app is the final authority. A country row helps you ask the right question; it does not approve a particular account or beneficiary.

Card eligibility is a residence check

Jupiter’s Card documentation says eligibility follows the country where you live rather than the passport you hold. If you actually reside in the Philippines, keep the address and residence information in the identity flow consistent with the evidence you can provide. A Filipino citizen living elsewhere should check the country of actual residence instead of selecting the Philippines because of nationality.

The page lists the Philippines among actively offered countries and says a country not listed is reviewed case by case during KYC. That makes the correct first step simple: open the official onboarding flow, choose the real residence, and read the issuer and feature details shown for the account. Do not use a relative’s address, a hotel stay or a borrowed document to force a country result. Card country rules

Philippine residents are assigned DCS rather than Rain. The issuer is selected automatically, so the DCS fee and limit table is the relevant planning reference for a Philippine account. A successful signup still does not guarantee that a physical card, mobile wallet or every merchant category will be available immediately. Physical cards are rolling out in phases, and Apple Pay or Google Pay can have their own regional restrictions. Card management and wallet conditions

QR Ph is a merchant route

The current QR Pay page lists QR Ph for the Philippines. It describes a scan-to-pay flow from the Spend home screen: scan the merchant code, review the payment, and settle from the USD Spend balance through local payment rails. The merchant does not need a Jupiter-specific integration, but the code must belong to a supported merchant network and payment type.

The current card matrix is especially useful for Philippine readers. It says cards issued in Vietnam, the Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan support QR Pay on all cards. That is more precise than the broad statement that QR Pay depends on a DCS card, because the issuance table contains country-specific exceptions. A Philippine residence row and a QR Ph merchant row still do not prove that an arbitrary personal wallet QR, bank-transfer QR or P2P code will work. QR Pay card matrix

QR Pay has no payer or recipient fee, including the documented FX conversion, but it has a $500 per-transaction limit and a $5,000 daily limit. QR payments do not earn card cashback. The account must be funded and Jupiter ID verification must be complete before you rely on the scanner for a real checkout. QR limits and exclusions · QR Pay limitations

At the merchant, check the network name, merchant identity, amount and currency before authorizing. If a scan stays pending, do not scan repeatedly or hand a login code to someone offering an “unlock.” Save the original reference and use official support if the merchant cannot confirm settlement. PHP bank payouts are a different job

PHP in the remittance table answers a bank-transfer question, not a QR question. The current fee table lists the Philippines bank-transfer row at $2.50 fixed plus 0.45% variable. That’s the published rate. Your live quote, beneficiary fields, destination bank, available balance, delivery estimate and account eligibility decide whether a specific transfer can proceed. Current PHP fee row

Before funding, write down where the money needs to end up: PHP credited to this exact beneficiary account. Then compare the full debit and the PHP amount that should arrive. Do not compare a PHP bank payout with a QR merchant payment or a card purchase as though they were interchangeable products.

The remittance page lists virtual accounts in USD and EUR and says local payouts are a separate route. Funding a USD or EUR virtual account does not create a Philippine peso bank account, and seeing PHP in a payout list does not guarantee every Philippine bank or beneficiary format. Confirm the legal name, account number, bank code and displayed quote inside the current official flow. Global Fiat Remittance

The balance and FX check

The Jupiter Card draws from a USD Spend balance. The app displays the Spend balance in USD; deposited USDC and USDT are not automatically converted to USD on arrival. With Rain, the stablecoins remain on-chain as card collateral. A PHP card purchase is therefore a non-USD card payment, not a withdrawal from a separate PHP wallet. The DCS fee table currently lists 1.8% on non-USD payments and no fee on USD payments. Balance mechanics · Issuer fees

Before a large or time-sensitive purchase, inspect the final PHP amount, any merchant currency-conversion offer and the balance remaining after the transaction. Keep a backup payment method for transport, lodging and other situations where a declined card cannot be solved at the terminal.

If you need a family remittance, do not use a merchant QR code as a substitute. If you need an in-person checkout, do not assume a PHP payout row makes every QR code compatible. The payment-route guide and deposit safety checklist help separate those decisions.

Philippines preflight

1. Confirm that the Philippines is your actual country of residence for KYC. 2. Check the live account’s assigned DCS issuer, card status and available USD balance. 3. For QR Ph, confirm the code is a merchant QR and compare the merchant, amount and currency before authorizing. 4. For PHP payout, confirm the beneficiary’s legal details and read the current quote rather than relying on the published fee row. 5. For funding, match the asset and network shown in the current deposit screen. 6. Preserve the original reference if anything is pending; never submit a duplicate transfer just because the recipient has not checked yet.

Jupiter Global Philippines FAQ

Is Jupiter Global available to residents of the Philippines?

The current Card documentation lists the Philippines as an active residence market and assigns DCS to Philippine residents. That starts the eligibility check; identity verification, account status, card rollout and the live feature screen still decide what your account can use.

Does Jupiter Global support QR Ph?

The current QR documentation lists QR Ph, and its card matrix says Philippine-issued cards support QR Pay. Use a merchant QR on the documented network and confirm the merchant, amount and currency before authorizing. A personal wallet QR or bank-transfer QR is not automatically the same route.

How much does a PHP bank payout cost?

The current fee table lists a $2.50 fixed fee plus 0.45% variable fee for the Philippines bank-transfer route. Treat that as a documentation reference; the live beneficiary route, quote, account and delivery estimate control the actual transaction.

Is Jupiter Global better than Wise for the Philippines?

It depends on what you need the money to do. Jupiter may fit a supported stablecoin-funded card, QR Ph payment or visible PHP payout route. Wise may fit a fiat-first PHP transfer or domestic PHP account-details route. Compare the same source amount, recipient bank or wallet, final PHP amount and delivery timing in both live quotes.

Use the Route Finder to keep stablecoin, card, bank and country questions separate before choosing the next guide. Verify the current residence, card, QR or payout details in the official app before funding. Before opening it, read the official app-download guide; if you arrived with a campaign or referral code, use the referral-code checklist first.

The useful answer is not simply “yes, Jupiter works in the Philippines.” It is a matched residence, issuer, payment rail, beneficiary or merchant, amount and live confirmation.

If the Philippines route fits, create your Jupiter Global account. Everyday card spending pays you back: eligible Jupiter Card purchases earn 2% cashback, up to $100 a month (QR Ph payments don’t count toward it).
