Jupiter Global Egypt: Card, fees and bank-route checks

A current Jupiter Global Egypt guide: verify residence, Rain Card fees, USD and EUR transfer routes, local-currency limits and the separate QR Pay scope.

By StonkBuilder GuidesUpdated 21 Oct 20267 min read

For Jupiter Global Egypt, the Card, bank transfers and QR payments each need their own check. Egypt appears in the current supported Card residence list, but that does not create an Egyptian-pound payout or a local QR Pay network. The right answer depends on what you need: card spending, receiving fiat, sending a bank payout, or paying a merchant.

Can an Egypt resident get the Jupiter Card?

Egypt appears in Jupiter’s current Card list. Eligibility is based on country of residence rather than citizenship, and the account must complete the Jupiter ID verification flow. Use the residence you can document truthfully; a passport or a temporary address does not replace the provider’s verification decision. Card residence rules

The Card documentation describes a virtual Card in the app, while physical cards are rolling out in phases. A supported Egyptian residence answers the country question, not the question of whether a physical order option is visible today. Open Spend → Card in the official app before planning around delivery.

Which issuer and fee applies in Egypt?

Jupiter documents Rain and DCS as the two Card issuers. DCS is listed for Australia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam; the documented country split assigns other supported residences to Rain. Egypt is not in the DCS list, so the current documentation points to Rain for an Egypt resident. Confirm the assigned issuer in the live account before relying on any fee or limit. Issuer assignment

The current fees table lists 1% for Rain on non-USD Card payments and no fee for payments made in USD. That is the issuer’s conversion fee, not the merchant’s price or a guaranteed exchange rate. An Egyptian purchase in EGP should be read from the final authorization screen, including the merchant amount and total debit from the USD Spend balance. Current Card fees

The same table lists Rain with no stated Card spending limit, while DCS has published daily and annual limits. A public “no limit” entry does not override account controls, merchant restrictions, fraud monitoring or the balance available to the transaction. Treat the current Card screen as the authority.

Is there an Egyptian-pound bank payout?

Do not treat Card-country support as proof of a local EGP bank payout. Jupiter’s current remittance page lists local payout currencies including AED, BRL, CAD, EUR, GBP, IDR, INR, MYR, NGN, PHP, SGD, THB, TRY, USD and VND. EGP is not in that current local-payout list. The documentation says other destinations may use SWIFT in USD or EUR, subject to the recipient bank, corridor and regulatory conditions. Current remittance currencies

Jupiter also describes USD and EUR virtual accounts after Jupiter ID verification, with EUR availability potentially depending on residence. Incoming fiat transfers credit the Spend balance; USDC is not deposited directly into a virtual account. For an Egyptian resident, the useful question is therefore “Which currency and beneficiary route does my account show?” rather than “Is there an Egyptian account number?” Virtual-account conditions

Deposits and payouts carry route-specific fixed and variable fees, and payout limits are set for each currency and shown in the app. A visible balance or virtual account does not guarantee that a recipient bank will accept a particular currency. Read the beneficiary fields, quote and corridor warnings before sending. Transfer fees and limits

Does QR Pay work in Egypt?

The current QR Pay page lists merchant networks in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Singapore SG QR and Thailand PromptPay are marked temporarily unavailable. Egypt is not in the documented QR merchant-network list. An Egyptian merchant QR may belong to another bank or wallet rail, so a familiar code is not evidence of Jupiter compatibility. QR Pay markets

QR Pay is also a separate issuer gate. The documentation currently says it is available on DCS-issued cards only, with additional activation-date rules in some markets. A Rain-issued Egyptian Card should not be funded on the assumption that a QR option will appear later. Use the Card route for an ordinary Visa merchant where the live app supports it, and use the remittance route for a bank destination.

Egypt onboarding checklist

1. Enter the real country of residence and complete the official Jupiter ID verification flow. 2. Confirm the issuer shown in Spend → Card before estimating non-USD costs. 3. For an EGP purchase, read the final Card authorization instead of treating a converted balance display as a quote. 4. If you need a bank payout, check whether the account offers USD, EUR or a specific SWIFT route; do not assume EGP support. 5. Treat QR Pay as a separate network check; Egypt is not in the current documented merchant list. 6. Keep the transaction reference private and use official support if the account and documentation disagree.

The site’s Route Finder helps you pin down the goal, and the residence checker can organize the questions. Keep identity documents, passwords, PINs, one-time codes and recovery phrases out of community messages. Official support route

The practical Egypt answer is: the Card is a documented residence route, Rain is the expected issuer under the current split, EGP local payout and Egyptian QR Pay are not documented routes, and the live app controls the final decision. If the Card is what you’re after, create your Jupiter Global account and check the issuer and fees before spending. You’ll get 2% cashback on eligible Jupiter Card purchases, up to $100 a month.

Jupiter Global Egypt FAQ

Is Egypt supported for Jupiter Global?

Egypt appears in the current Jupiter Card supported-country list. Eligibility still depends on residence, identity verification and the options shown in the official app.

Which issuer does an Egypt resident receive?

Egypt is outside the documented DCS country list, so the current split points to Rain. Confirm the issuer shown on the account before relying on the fee table.

What is the Rain Card FX fee for Egypt spending?

The current fees page lists 1% for non-USD payments on Rain-issued Cards. The final amount also depends on the merchant currency, exchange rate and authorization shown in the app.

Can Jupiter Global send EGP to an Egyptian bank account?

EGP is not in the current local-payout currency list. The remittance documentation describes USD or EUR virtual accounts and SWIFT routes for other destinations, subject to the account, beneficiary bank and corridor.

Does Jupiter QR Pay work in Egypt?

Egypt is not in the current documented QR Pay merchant-network list. QR Pay also depends on the card issuer and market conditions, so an Egyptian QR code is not proof of compatibility.
