Two transfers can display the same token name and still be incompatible. The name on the coin is only half the address label; the blockchain network is the other half.
The safest starting point is the receiving screen inside Spend, not the withdrawal screen at the exchange you use. Decide what the destination accepts before choosing what to send.
Start with the correct destination
A Jupiter Mobile wallet and a Spend deposit balance are not interchangeable. A transfer into one does not necessarily fund the other. Write down your intended result: “This deposit should increase my Spend balance.” Then confirm you are reading that account’s Add Money instructions. Spend funding overview
Do not reuse an address merely because you sent to it previously. Open the receiving instructions again each time. The source of truth for the actual transfer is what the receiving service supports now.
Match the entire token-and-network pair
The current Spend FAQ lists USDC deposits on Solana, Ethereum, Sui, Arbitrum, and Base, and USDT deposits on Solana. That is not permission to send either token on any network an exchange offers. The Network Check tool compares your selection with the pairs listed in Jupiter’s documentation. A green result means the pair is listed there. It doesn’t check your address, your sending platform, or your account.
When the network you want is missing, stop. Do not choose the “closest” name. Converting assets or moving across networks creates a separate transaction with its own cost and risk, and should never happen just because a tutorial tells you to hurry.
The receiving screen is also the place to check the practical cost and timing. The current fee table lists a $3 minimum on Solana, Base, Arbitrum and Sui, and a $10 minimum on Ethereum. If you are deliberately testing a new route, use the separate first-deposit preflight for amount sizing and evidence capture. Do not treat this overview as approval of a particular account or exchange.
Decide how you will use or withdraw the money
This is the check people most often leave until later. The current remittance documentation says USDT deposits cannot be withdrawn to fiat; only USDC deposits can take that route. A token being accepted for spending does not mean it supports the exit you need. Fiat withdrawal limitation
If you have USDT and need a bank payout, do not deposit it into Spend and expect that restriction to disappear. Compare a supported conversion or another permitted route before committing money. Don’t assume a conversion will be available, cheap, or right for your account.
Read the sending platform’s final screen
Verify the asset, network, complete recipient address, amount, any required reference, withdrawal fee, and the amount that will actually arrive. A platform may take its fee from your amount or add it separately. Those produce different numbers.
If someone sends you a replacement address in a chat, go back to the account you intend to fund and independently verify it. Recent transaction history is not a substitute for a trusted address source. Do not share your seed phrase or private key to “validate” a deposit. Crypto scam warnings
Test carefully, not mechanically
For a new route, use a modest amount that satisfies the sending and receiving requirements shown at the time. Do not interpret “test transfer” as a fixed dollar amount suitable for every network or payment rail. A fee-heavy bank wire and a token transfer are different situations.
Wait for the deposit to be credited in the expected balance. Keep the transaction identifier, time, selected asset, and network in a private record. A screenshot of a successful withdrawal from an exchange is not yet proof that Spend credited the funds.
When it has not appeared
If the transfer is already sent and you are diagnosing a missing credit, switch to the deposit-pending timeline rather than repeating the pre-send checklist.
First check whether the sending service released it. Then inspect the transaction on the relevant explorer, reached through a trusted source. Do not paste private keys into an explorer. Avoid “recovery agents” who request an advance payment or account secrets. A missing balance is stressful, but it is not a reason to give a stranger control of the rest of your funds. Keep investigating the original transaction instead of creating more of them.

Which networks support USDC and USDT deposits?
The current FAQ lists USDC on Solana, Ethereum, Sui, Arbitrum, and Base, and USDT on Solana. Always match the live Add Money screen before sending.
Can I send another token to the Spend deposit address?
No. The Solana Spend deposit address accepts USDC or USDT only. Other networks use Universal Deposit and accept only the tokens shown for the selected network in the app. Other tokens sent there cannot be reversed or recovered. If the funds are in Jupiter Mobile, use Send → Send to Spend instead; that route can convert another token before delivery.
Can USDT deposited into Spend be withdrawn to fiat?
No. Jupiter’s remittance documentation says only funds deposited as USDC can be withdrawn to fiat. USDT can be accepted for spending, but it does not create the same exit route.
How long does a crypto deposit take?
Most deposits arrive within about four minutes after the required network confirmations, but congestion and network-specific confirmation requirements can make it longer. If a confirmed deposit is still missing after 30 minutes, contact official support with the transaction hash and deposit address.
