Opening an account is the easy part. The first transfer is where it pays to slow down. This walkthrough takes you from an empty phone screen to a deliberate first payment, without asking you to buy a speculative token or trade anything.
Keep the app on your phone and this guide on a second screen when possible. Never include passwords, card security codes, identity documents, or recovery information in screenshots you share with other people.
1. Begin at a known destination
The guides and checklist on this site are optional. Signup happens in Jupiter’s own app, and Jupiter handles residence, identity and account eligibility. Check the destination rather than trusting an ad, a forwarded message, or a near-identical spelling.
Download through the store destination linked by Jupiter. The official app-download checklist shows how to check that link before you install. If you arrived through a campaign or referral message, read the referral-code checklist before creating the account so any current code stays inside the official signup flow. You never need to connect a wallet to this site, and it will never ask you to sign a transaction.
2. Check the fit before completing setup
Read the country and product restrictions in the app. Your place of residence matters for card eligibility. A country appearing in a payout list does not automatically mean its residents can use every feature. Be ready to use your actual identity and residence; do not work around restrictions with false information. Card eligibility
Choose your first goal now: a card purchase, a supported merchant QR payment, or a bank transfer. Put the other features aside. It is easier to check one complete route than to learn the entire app at once. The Route Finder can help you write down the goal, currency and next check.
3. Set up Global ID (previously Jupiter ID)
The documented starting point is the Spend tab (the card icon at the bottom right of the Jupiter app), followed by Global ID sign-in. The current documentation calls this Global ID; it was previously called Jupiter ID. The documentation lists email, Google, and Apple sign-in options. Use an account you control and expect to retain. Secure that account as well as your device. An identity login and a self-custody wallet backup are different things; do not assume that signing in with an email recovers every wallet you might later create.
4. Complete verification in the app
Open the Verification Center and work through its current checklist. The documented process covers an identity document, phone verification, a liveness check, personal information, and a questionnaire. APAC applications also require proof of address. Submit information only through the legitimate verification flow. Make the document readable, check that your details agree, and avoid repeated changes simply to get through an error. Approval is not guaranteed; a short advertised setup time is not a deadline the provider must meet.
5. Inspect the funding screen before sending
Go to Spend, choose Deposit, and read the Add Money screen. The current flow can show a deposit address, From Jupiter Mobile, or Bank Transfer. Do not transfer from an exchange yet. First identify the exact asset, network, destination, and amount the receiving screen accepts. A supported token on the wrong network is still the wrong deposit. For a bank transfer, use the bank-account instructions. For a crypto deposit, use the crypto deposit instructions. Do not paste a blockchain address into a bank beneficiary form or treat virtual bank details as a blockchain destination.
If your goal is to withdraw to fiat later, inspect that path before funding. The remittance documentation distinguishes USDC-funded and USDT-funded money; the latter cannot be withdrawn to fiat under the documented rules. Read the remittance limitations
6. Make a modest, valid first deposit
Choose an amount you can afford to have delayed. Jupiter's current fee table lists a $3 minimum on Solana, Base, Arbitrum and Sui, and a $10 minimum on Ethereum; Solana has no processing fee, while the other listed networks charge the higher of $0.30 or 0.02%, plus network gas. Check the address and fee from the original receiving screen, not from an old transaction in your history.
After sending, retain the transaction reference privately. Wait for the correct balance to update. Do not repeatedly resend just because the first deposit is not immediately visible. A successful test reduces one kind of mistake; it is not a guarantee that a larger transaction will be approved or processed the same way.
7. Review your first payment as a complete transaction
Before confirming, read the recipient or merchant name, currency, amount charged, amount delivered where applicable, fees, and estimated timing. For a bank payout, ask the recipient to confirm arrival in their own banking app. For a purchase, confirm that the merchant sees the payment before leaving.
Finish by saving the receipt and comparing what happened with the quote. That is your first useful piece of evidence.

What do I need before using Jupiter Spend?
You need a Global ID (previously Jupiter ID) and completed identity verification before accessing Spend features. Use your real identity and country of residence, and keep any proof-of-address request inside the official verification flow.
Which assets can I send to the Spend deposit address?
The current deposit address accepts USDC on Solana, Ethereum, Sui, Arbitrum, or Base and USDT on Solana. Tokens in a Jupiter Mobile wallet can use Send → Send to Spend. On other networks, Universal Deposit accepts only the tokens shown for that network in the app and converts them to USDC. Read the summary before confirmation.
How long can Global ID verification take?
Jupiter says verification typically takes a few minutes. Applications sent to manual review can take 3 to 5 working days, so do not create duplicate accounts or repeatedly resubmit changing information while the review is open.

Should I start with Card, QR Pay, or Remittance?
Pick one goal first. The Card is for Visa merchant spending, QR Pay has separate APAC network and card requirements, and Remittance uses its own beneficiary, currency and corridor checks. Confirm the route in the live app before funding.
