“Low fee” is not a useful answer until you know how many pesos or dong the recipient will actually receive. A PHP or VND transfer can include a funding charge, a payout charge, a conversion rate, and a receiving-bank limitation.
What the published payout table says
Jupiter’s current fee table lists a $2.50 fixed fee plus a 0.45% variable fee for PHP bank payouts to the Philippines. It lists the same $2.50 fixed fee and 0.45% variable fee for VND bank payouts to Vietnam. Those figures describe the published payout schedule, not a guaranteed quote for every account or receiving bank. Current fee table
The fee is only one part of the route. The documentation says transfers use the market rate, and the remittance service can carry restrictions depending on the destination bank and local regulations. Ask the app for the actual quote and recipient fields before you fund the transfer. Remittance limitations
Add funding costs before comparing providers
If you fund a virtual account by bank transfer, pay-in charges are separate from payout charges. The published table describes fixed and variable funding fees for rails such as SEPA, ACH, Fedwire, and SWIFT. A small transfer can be affected more by a fixed charge than by the percentage. Funding fee schedule
Do not compare Jupiter’s payout fee with another provider’s “fee” when the other quote already includes its exchange-rate margin. Use the complete source debit and final recipient amount from each current quote. If a fee is deducted before the quoted balance, include it in the debit; if it is taken from the payout, include it in the recipient calculation.
Use one budget and one finish line
For a clean comparison, keep these items constant:
- The total amount leaving your source account.
- The source and recipient currencies.
- Bank payout rather than merchant QR or cash collection.
- The recipient’s actual bank and account details.
- The time at which the quote was requested.
Then enter the final debit and recipient amount into the site’s Quote Lab. The tool calculates an effective rate from your inputs. It does not fetch live prices, decide which provider is eligible, or predict when a bank will credit the payment.
PHP route questions
The current documentation lists PHP as a local payout currency. That makes the corridor worth checking, but it does not guarantee a specific bank, beneficiary, or residence will be available. Confirm the recipient’s legal name and bank details in the app’s requested format. A family nickname or a QR image is not a substitute for bank-account fields. Transfer FAQ
Keep merchant QR separate from a family bank transfer. QR Ph is a payment network with its own card and merchant conditions; it is not a shortcut around a missing PHP bank payout. A route should match the recipient’s actual need.
VND route questions
The published table also lists VND bank payouts. Check whether the destination bank accepts the specific route, whether the recipient needs additional information, and whether the current quote uses the intended delivery method. A broad “Vietnam supported” label is not evidence that every bank or payout path is available.
If a transfer is time-sensitive, allow for bank processing and compliance review. Keep a private reference for the transfer and ask the recipient to confirm the credit in their own banking app rather than relying on a sender-side “sent” status.
The decision rule
Compare the final amount that arrives, not the most attractive fee headline. If you cannot see the current total debit, recipient amount, route, expiry, and timing, the comparison is incomplete. The fee table is a useful starting point; the in-app quote and the recipient’s confirmed bank credit are the evidence that matters for your transaction.
