Make your first supported payment

Choose the right payment method and verify the final outcome with the merchant or recipient.

Your route, at a glance

  1. Choose the route shown for your account
  2. Identify the real merchant or recipient
  3. Review the complete quote
  4. Confirm the outcome once

Work through these in order.

01

Choose the route shown for your account

Check your app and the country notes. For card purchases, check status and balance. QR from Spend requires an eligible DCS card; issuer-country and activation-date conditions apply. Wallet QR instead uses USDC on Solana after Global ID verification, without a card. Check the merchant network and any pauses separately. For a bank payout, check currency and beneficiary requirements.

Before continuing

Do not switch to a similar-looking route when the intended one is unavailable.

02

Identify the real merchant or recipient

At a shop, confirm the payment request belongs to that merchant. With a QR code, inspect the name the app displays rather than trusting the sticker alone. For a bank transfer, check the beneficiary details against information supplied through a trusted channel.

Before continuing

Stop if the displayed recipient differs from the person or business you intend to pay.

03

Review the complete quote

Look at the payment currency, total debit, conversion and any charges. Distinguish the amount you spend from the amount the recipient receives. The final confirmation screen in the app shows the rate and fees that actually apply, so read it before you approve.

Before continuing

Can you explain the full amount you are authorizing?

04

Confirm the outcome once

After confirming, inspect the transaction status. Ask the merchant or recipient to confirm receipt through their normal process. Keep the reference and final quote privately. If the payment is pending or declined, read the status before trying again so that a second attempt does not create a duplicate.

Before continuing

The payment is done when the app shows it as completed and the recipient confirms they have it.

QR payments
No Kenyan merchant QR network is listed for Jupiter QR Pay. A merchant's local QR code is not evidence of Jupiter support.
Bank payouts
KES is not in the published local-payout currency list. Check any offered international currency route, recipient bank and quote individually; do not promise a domestic bank or mobile-wallet route.
